Rabbi Josh Weinberg, Vice President for Israel & Reform Zionism, Union for Reform Judaism
Rabbi Weinberg serves as the Vice President of the URJ for Israel and Reform Zionism and is the Executive Director of ARZA, the Association of Reform Zionists of America. Josh previously served as the Director of the Israel program for the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and as a faculty member of NFTY-EIE High School in Israel teaching Jewish History. He has also led numerous tours and trained tour educators for the Reform movement’s Israel experiences. Originally from Chicago, he has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. from the Hebrew University in Jewish Education and was ordained by the HUC-JIR Israeli Rabbinic Program. He lives in New York.
Rabbi Eric Stark, Deputy National Synagogue Initiative Director, AIPAC
Rabbi Stark joined the AIPAC Synagogue Initiative team as Deputy National Director in 2014. A native of the Detroit area, Eric has engaged the Jewish people in a variety of ways: as a congregational rabbi; as the Greater New York Regional Director of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ); at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC); and as the Campaign Director of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Eric has an AB in Economics and History from the University of Michigan and his MAHL and Rabbinic Ordination from HUC-JIR. He lives in Bethesda, MD.
