On MLK Weekend, Celebrate Hope: Rise Against Hunger
Sunday, January 19, 2025 • 19 Tevet 5785
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMSocial HallJewish tradition implores us to actively work toward creating the world we wish to see. Approximately 733 million people worldwide suffer from hunger and malnutrition, about 2.5 times the U.S. population.
Together, let's be part of the solution. On January 19, Beth Am will pack 25,000+ meals in a fun and fast-paced two hours. 70% of Rise Against Hunger meals go to hungry children all over the world and support children’s attendance at school (the only meal many receive that day), with 30% of packed meals going to health clinics, disaster relief efforts and adults learning a new trade.
Registration to participate in the event is at capacity and now closed.
However, we invite you to consider making an optional contribution, using the form below, to help fund the 25,000 meals we will pack during this social action project:
$25 = 62 meals | $50 = 125 meals | $75 = 188 meals
