Join the Beth Am community in our beautiful Outdoor Chapel all summer long. We’re excited to welcome congregants to the bima to share words of Torah during July and August. For any outdoor programming, please be sure to bring your own water bottle, sunscreen and hat, as needed.
The Beth Am community gathers each Friday night at 6:15 PM to welcome Shabbat. Our worship services are musical, participatory and informal in spirit; they focus on helping us experience the spiritual renewal, peace, joy and sense of celebration that Shabbat can bring.
August Speaker Schedule:
- August 4 - Sarah Fields of Beth Am Women (service followed by Tu B’Av Oneg Shabbat, sponsored by Beth Am Women and Beth Am Men)
- August 11 - Larry Shapiro of Beth Am Men
- August 18 - Darin Buxbaum
- August 25 - Lauren Berman
August is Prospective Member Month at Beth Am! We invite you to share this warm, special place with the people you know and love in your lives.
If you attend virtually, please join at betham.org/streaming or on our YouTube channel or on the Beth Am Facebook page, starting at 6:15 PM. You may follow along in our texts for the Erev (evening) Shabbat service using the online version (available for purchase) of the Mishkan T'filah: A Reform Siddur.
To enhance your enjoyment of Shabbat, please visit betham.org/shabbatcorner (including "Social Stories" in the Resource Box to prepare children ahead of time for what to expect during the Shabbat service).
*These services will be livestreamed. By entering the Outdoor Chapel, you give Beth Am permission to record you.
