11:00 AM - 12:00 PMKol Emeth, 4175 Manuela Avenue, Palo AltoCo-sponsored by Congregation Beth Am
Sustainability is challenging and policy is part of the reason why. Join Beth Am Dayenu for a co-hosted book talk by Alon Tal, an Israeli visiting Professor at Stanford School of Sustainability, and former Israeli Knesset member.
Alon will be discussing his new book, Making Climate Tech Work: Policies that Drive Innovation. Professor Tal offers a serious review of various disparate policy strategies deployed to both mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate innovation in the climate tech space. He has considerable experience in this arena. The book evaluates what does and does not work in climate tech and explains why. As the planet races to decarbonize, it is important to get the policies right.
This is an opportunity to hear from Alon directly, and if you haven’t seen it, to visit Kol Emeth’s renovated campus built with a focus on sustainability. We hope you will join us.
