On Shabbat morning, join a member of the Beth Am clergy for Torah Study. We will focus on a thoughtful reading of the entire Torah, exploring the historical, ethical and spiritual questions raised by the text. We explore Torah on three levels: What meaning did it hold in its original ancient Near East setting? How have our sages and commentators understood the text over the centuries? What personal and communal meaning does it hold for us today? Every session offers learning, lively interchange and ample opportunity for questions and discussion. People of all levels and backgrounds are welcome, and Hebrew knowledge is not required.
- Livestream: If you plan watch online, please visit our streaming page. The class goes live at 9:00 AM in the window marked "Beit Kehillah."
- Zoom: You may still join by Zoom using the recurring link, which can be found in Links to this Week's Events or the Thursday email.
Virtual GOOD BOOK CAFÉ: The Beth Am Library has "opened" the Virtual Good Book Café held weekly after Torah Study.
