After our Friday evening Shabbat service with guest author in residence Abby Pogrebin, author of My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew, come dine at a delicious community dinner prepared by the Poltava/Odessa Committee. Enjoy knishes just like your grandmother might have made if your family came from Ukraine. Add some roast chicken, peas, salad, fruit, Fred’s famous challah and a delightful assortment of delicious treats, and you have a special Shabbat dinner cooked with love by the Poltava/Odessa Committee chefs.
All proceeds from the dinner will support the Beth Am Poltava and Odessa Fund (additional donations are welcome and appreciated).
