Beth Am Supports Hunger & Homelessness
Beth Am Hunger & Homelessness Winter Campaign
As our calendar turns to winter months and the temperatures on the thermometer drop, at Beth Am we take the time to recognize that there are many in our local community who are struggling to find adequate housing and food. This year, due to COVID-19, the need is greater than ever and demands on local organizations serving people in need have skyrocketed.
Thanks to the generosity of so many Beth Am members during the High Holy Days, we were already able to start distributing funds to organizations supporting the most vulnerable — and our continued support is now more essential than ever. We hope that through this year’s winter Hunger & Homelessness appeal, our community will match or exceed the $38,000 we raised last winter. Groups we have supported in the past include: Community Services Agency, Ecumenical Hunger Program, Home & Hope, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, LifeMoves and Second Harvest Food Bank.
We ask you to be as generous as possible with your end of the year giving. You can make a contribution using the envelope you received in the mail. Alternatively, you can make a donation online to the Hunger & Homelessness Fund. Gifts of any size are welcome and appreciated.
