Interfaith Community Conversations

Organized by Silicon Valley Sponsoring Committee

One of Beth Am’s greatest strengths is our reach into the neighborhoods we live in, connecting with people of all faiths, backgrounds and economic status. We are stronger when we work together through tikkun olam — repairing the world. This summer we are once again participating in interfaith community conversations. Please consider joining the conversation!

Several of the religious institutions in our area will be hosting small group conversations. Come for an one hour, sit with five to seven people from different backgrounds, and talk about the pressures of living in Silicon Valley.

Based on these conversations, leaders from all 15 institutions in the Silicon Valley Sponsoring Committee’s network will put together a strategy to enable us to work together, and address these issues. Check out the listing below for our area gatherings, including one at Beth Am on Sunday, August 14.

This is not a one-time opportunity, rather a long-term partnership with are synagogues, churches and community institutions in our neighborhood, focused on addressing the needs of the most vulnerable in the community. You can also contact Beth Am member Charlie Rothschild for more information on some of the other conversations in the area, hosted by other institutions (between now and August).

Registration is suggested and appreciated, but not required. Please register here.
