Odessa/Beth Am Recipes with Memories: A Collection
Odessa and Beth Am Recipes & Memories: A Collection
Beth Am has embraced another World Union for Progressive Judaism community besides Poltava — Shir Ha Yam of Odessa, Ukraine. They want to collaborate with us on a joint family history cookbook for Chanukah. It will be in English and Russian.
Each holiday season many of us want the taste of “growing up”, so we make some of those favorite recipes that our parents, grandmothers or perhaps special uncles made with love. Those tastes and recollections are often handed down from one generation to the next. Do you have a recipe from your heritage that does that for you and your family? Please submit the recipe and its backstory so that we can all share and enjoy a taste of your heritage.
Email your submission to Francine by Saturday, October 30. All those who submit a recipe and story will receive a digital copy of The Memory Cookbook by this coming Chanukah season.
