November Tzedakah Box: Jerusalem Open House - HaBayit HaPatuach
Jerusalem Open House — HaBayit HaPatuach
This month our Tzedakah Box benefits Jerusalem Open House, a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 with a community center serving people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in Israel. It is the only LGBTQ center in greater Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Open House aims to provide direct services for the LGBT community in Jerusalem and to secure LGBT rights in Israeli society. They work to create a safe, pluralistic and egalitarian Jerusalem that is welcoming to all of its inhabitants, communities and visitors, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
