Beth Am Welcomes Pati Ortiz, Our New Interim Executive Director

Beth Am is pleased to welcome Pati Ortiz, of Mountain View-based Venture Leadership Collective (VLC), who will serve on the Beth Am staff as Interim Executive Director. Pati's work at Beth Am will also include an organizational assessment to help us prepare for hiring and transitioning to a new permanent Executive Director.

Pati is a member of Congregation Beth Jacob in Redwood City and has young children who are enrolled in their education program. She is very excited to join Beth Am and be part of such a strong, and respected community, hoping to enrich her own Jewish experience in new ways and hopefully, that of everyone at Beth Am.

In her new work with Beth Am, Pati brings over two decades of experience with community-based organizations in The United States and Latin America. As a Community Impact Strategist at Venture Leadership Collective, Pati helps organizations uncover internal knowledge and make room for change through vision alignment and effective program design.

Pati grew up in Venezuela, where her time was spent engaging in philosophy, political activism, community development and child welfare. These are still her passions. Since moving to the United States over a decade ago, Pati has worked directly with community-based organizations, successfully engaging leaders from all altitudes, and aligning stakeholders behind a common vision that leads to solutions that impact individuals, families, and communities.

Please join us in welcoming Pati to our Beth Am community!
