February Meeting Topic: Digitizing Paper Photos and Other Documents

Digitizing photos and other documents involves much more than scanning. Methods for digitizing can be as basic as using your smartphone. In February, Larry will outline the various strategies and methods for digitally preserving your family photos.

Assignment for February Meeting: Reviewing recent photos taken by the Group are a cornerstone of our meetings; it's a great way to continually improve our photo skills.

• Submit no more than two photos that you take before the February meeting; reflecting any aspect of this time of year that inspires you.
• If you post-process your photos, please send both an original, and a post processed version of each photo.
• When you present your photos, describe what inspired you to take the photo, and tell us about your post processing decisions.

Instructions for Submitting Your ONE Photo for the February Meeting:

• Email photo(s) to Larry Shapiro or upload your photo(s) to iCloud, Google Drive or any other cloud storage application.
• If you upload them, then paste your link into an email to Larry.

Please submit your photo no later than Friday, February 7.
