Friday, March 21, 2025 • 21 Adar 5785
5:00 PM - 6:15 PMSanctuary FoyerDid you know that there are over 400,000 children in foster care in the United States?
11th Grade Beth Am teens Zoe and Tali currently serve on the board of the Jewish Teen Foundation (JTF). JTF is a Bay Area program of the Jewish Community Federation that works to equip Jewish high school students to become effective leaders to make a difference in our communities.
Zoe and Tali are now leading a fundraising initiative to support youth in the foster care system. As part of the preparation process, they have been conducting research, reviewing proposals, and vetting organizations to select a non-profit organization to partner with. The teens have decided to partner with an organization supporting youth in the foster care system.
Please help support Zoe and Tali's fundraising efforts by purchasing a homemade challah before the Erev Shabbat service on Friday, March 21. Each challah costs $18 and will benefit youth in the foster care system. Challahs will be available for pick up in the Sanctuary Foyer. Please make your purchase using the form below by Thursday, March 20.
