Congregational Conversation on Land Sale
Friday, May 16, 2025 • 18 Iyar 5785
5:00 PM - 6:00 PMChapelRecently, in addition to the routine expenses of upkeep, we have had some unexpected and costly infrastructure failings on our Beth Am campus. Other major maintenance requirements and improvements must also be addressed in order to bring our campus back to the beautiful and inspiring place it was meant to be, as well as to make our campus safer, ADA compliant, more sustainable, and more comfortable for all our households to enjoy.
At this moment, our Board of Directors is considering the possibility of selling the undeveloped one-acre property adjacent to our campus. Under our bylaws, any land sale contract will have to be approved by a vote of the Beth Am membership. Our commitment is to keep you informed as this process moves forward. As part of this effort, the Board is hosting group meetings to answer questions about this exploratory initiative. Please join for one of the upcoming conversations:
- In person before the Erev Shabbat service on Friday, May 16 at 5:00 PM, in the Beth Am Chapel
- Virtually on Sunday, May 18 at 1:00 PM on Zoom*
