Beth Am Mitzvah Day

In partnership with the Ecumenical Hunger Program 

Join fellow volunteers at Beth Am to collect, pack, and distribute food and hygiene products to our neighbors in need. We will have Nevida Butler, the EHP warehouse manager, community liaison, and historian, joining us to discuss the important work they do in the community and our ongoing partnership.

We are collecting the following food items and hygiene products:

FOOD ITEMS:

  • rice
  • canned fruit
  • canned vegetables (corn / green beans)
  • canned tuna / chicken
  • oatmeal / cereal
  • instant mashed potatoes
  • bag beans or canned beans
  • peanut butter & jelly

     

HYGIENE PRODUCTS:

  • bath soap
  • dental hygiene products (for kids and/or adults)
  • deodorant (for men & women)
  • dish soap
  • laundry detergent
  • lotion
  • paper towels
  • razors & shaving cream (for men & women)
  • shampoo & conditioner
  • toilet paper

Bins will be available around Beth Am to collect these items starting August 10, 2025.

Volunteers aged 2+ are welcome! This will be a wonderful Intergenerational event!
