Join us for a Wicked-themed Purim Shpiel and Carnival to see if good will conquer evil! Whether you’re in full costume or rocking your witch hat or Esther crown, come ready for a magical time! 🧙♀️👑
Enjoy carnival games with prizes, bouncy houses, obstacle course, a kids’ costume parade and a petting zoo. We’ll have special potion drinks, Purim crafts, face painting, and more!
If you have used kids' costumes, you are welcome to bring them to the costume exchange on the day of the carnival. Thanks!
Get ready to munch on delicious homemade hamantaschen and pizza as we celebrate in Shushan... or is it the Emerald City?! 🌟🎉🍕💚
Festivities begin at 10:30 AM with singing, megillah reading, costume parade, and shpiel (our special Purim play performed by Beth Am's clergy and staff). The Tot Corner with activities for children ages 0-5 will also open at 10:30 AM, and the Carnival fun kicks off around 11:15 AM. Don’t miss it!

Carnival ticket cost: $15 per person 2 years and older
(Price cap is 5 people at $75 per family. If you have more than 5 people in your family, please select "5" in the "number of carnival entries" field in the form below). ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED using the form below.

TZEDAKAH OPPORTUNITIES:
One of the mitzvot of Purim is giving matanot la’evyonim (gifts to the poor).
Bake Sale Benefiting Ukraine: The Poltava/Odessa Committee will be holding a bake sale at the Purim Carnival to benefit our sister congregations in Poltava and Odessa, whose members and neighbors struggle in great uncertainty with major life challenges in war-torn Ukraine. Please plan to bring cash to purchase some home-baked goodies for a good cause!
Bracelet Sale Benefiting Teens in Foster Care: Lyla Kalvaria, a teen on the South Board of the Jewish Teen Foundation (JTF), which is a program of the Jewish Community Federation, will be selling handmade bracelets at the Purim Carnival to raise money for teens in the foster care system. More information about the cause, what JTF is, and how you can help the lives of thousands of teens can be learned at her table. Make sure to stop by and learn about or support this cause!
*Purim Tzedakah Project: JFCS Spring Drive: We encourage carnival attendees to bring cleaning and hygiene products to support the Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS) "Spring Cleaning" drive. LEARN MORE
