Advocacy Opportunity From WJR/Pacific District for Beth Am Women Members
You are invited to help Get Out the Vote with postcards to low-propensity voters! The Pacific District Action & Advocacy Team is hosting a Virtual District-Wide Postcard-Writing Party on Monday, September 12 at 7:00 PM. Beth Am Women is helping to write non-partisan postcards for Reclaim Our Vote, an initiative of the Center for Common Ground.
If you have postcards waiting to be written, great! If you don’t, you can order them by signing up through the Religious Action Center of the Union for Reform Judaism’s Every Voice, Every Vote Campaign. Select "WRJ Pacific District" as your group when you sign up for postcards. Each postcard kit contains instructions, a script, key information for the voter, voter addresses, and 30 postcards.
Be sure to order your kits by Monday, August 29 to have them in time for the party!
For those who are new to postcarding, there will have a quick tutorial at the beginning of the party on September 12, with time to get any questions answered. Check out the Reclaim Our Vote informational video.
Let’s help Get Out the Vote, help make the world a better place and have fun doing it! RSVP to participate and receive Zoom access information.
Want to learn more about the Every Voice, Every Vote campaign? There will also be a break-out group to get you oriented. To sign up, just answer "Yes" in reasponse to the field that asks "Are you interested in a break-out group to learn more about the Every Voice, Every Vote campaign?"
Want to help with other pro-Democracy initiatives? Sign up for the Beth Am Pursue Justice email list to learn about additional Reclaim Our Vote postcard campaigns and postcard parties.
