February 2023 Fund in Focus: Include at Beth Am

In recognition of Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month in February, Beth Am is excited to present a film screening of the documentary Through Our Eyes: Living with Aspergers on Saturday, February 18 and also to welcome guest speaker Stephanie Seeger on Friday, February 24 for a lecture about inclusion. Here in our congregation we have made strides in providing access to our Youth Education programs for students who have special needs, developing customized approaches to learning and community engagement that fit each child. In addition, our Include committee also actively sponsors and advocates for awareness around issues of mental health, LGBTQ+ awareness, physical disability issues and more. The Include Fund at Beth Am helps support this work, which has already meant so much to the individuals and families who need it. We encourage members to consider a donation to the Include fund at their next family simcha!

Consider a gift to Beth Am's Include Beth Am Fund in celebration and gratitude for your family simcha or to honor a loved one. You can make your donation online or by mailing a check made payable to “Congregation Beth Am” to the Administrative Office as follows:
