May Fund in Focus: Israel Awareness Fund
May 2024 Fund in Focus: Israel Awareness Fund
Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, is May 13-14. Now more than ever it’s important for Israel to remain top of mind, and for us to understand the difficult complexities around Israel’s challenges during the war with Gaza and into the future.
The Israel Awareness Fund supports programs that educate our Beth Am community about Israel and celebrate the beauty of Israeli culture through speakers, discussions and events such as our Oneg Israel series. One such program will be held Thurday, May 2 as Beth Am welcomes guest speaker Amichai Magen who will talk about "Israel's Transformative Tragedy: Where do we go after October 7th?"
Donations are appreciated to help fund future educational programs that will explore and enhance our relationship to Israel. Consider a gift to the Israel Awareness Fund in celebration and gratitude for your family simcha or to honor a loved one. Thank you!
If you would like information about how to create your own named fund, please visit betham.org/GIVE or contact Director of Development Mandy Eisner at meisner@betham.org or (650) 493-4661, ext. 211.
