September 2021 Fund in Focus: Poltava/Odessa Fund

We have long enjoyed a special relationship with our sister Reform congregation (also called Beth Am) in Poltava, Ukraine. Thanks to our community’s generosity, Beth Am of Poltava is able to help its members rediscover Jewish life after missing out on it for generations.
Recently, we had the great opportunity to connect as well with the Reform congregation Shirat Ha-Yam (Song of the Sea) in Odessa, Ukraine. Our support — community to community — nurtures the rebirth of Jewish connection after many years of repression, neglect and antisemitism. With each child we help these communities educate, each holiday we help them celebrate, Beth Am of Los Altos Hills is making miracles for the Jews of Ukraine. Thank you for your continued support.
