May Tzedakah Box: Jerusalem Open House
This month our Tzedakah Box proceeds will support Jerusalem Open House (JOH), a social change organization that operates an educational, therapeutic, multidisciplinary community center for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Since 1997, JOH has worked to turn Jerusalem into a city where every person has the freedom to be themselves and live their life, and to build a liberal, pluralist model society, with full equal rights as sexual and gender minorities. Marking a historic milestone, in 2002 Open House raised the Pride flag from its community center for the first time, symbolizing hope, acceptance, and a beacon of inclusivity in Jerusalem.
Building on our democratic community roots, Jerusalem Open House offers holistic services designed by and for the community. They commit to non-violent action, promoting diversity, and protecting human rights.
Your generous donations will help build a more inclusive and equitable Israel. For more information, joh.org.il/en/homepage.
