Doors open at 6:30 PM; Megillah Reading, Costume Party, Karaoke at 7:00 PM
Grab your costumes and your groggers for Beth Am’s adult Purim celebration! Purim is Judaism’s most raucous holiday, as we celebrate the time-honored theme of many Jewish holidays: they tried to kill us, we won, let’s eat. At our celebration for adults, we’ll have food and drinks, hear the megillah chanted, and enjoy a Purim-themed karaoke party. Dust off your favorite karaoke tune to sing and impress your friends. There's no need to sign up in advance; all are encouraged to participate! You won’t want to miss it!
This event is for those 21 and older. Suggested donation: $25 per person. Pay in advance below; or at the door (cash or checks welcome) or charge to ShulCloud at the event. Proceeds benefit Beth Am's Youth Education programming.
*Purim Tzedakah Project: One of the mitzvot of Purim is giving matanot la’evyonim (gifts to the poor). We encourage you to give generously to our March Tzedakah Box, supporting Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto.
