Monday, August 25, 2025 • 1 Elul 5785
7:30 PM - 9:15 PMConference RoomCheshbon HaNefesh—Taking Spiritual Stock Through Torn Paper Midrash
With Lisa Rauchwerger
Elul is the month of taking stock of our actions in the year that has passed, in preparation for the High Holy Days. We look at our life and actions and relationships, and see where we might have missed the mark—where and how we'd like to act differently in the coming year. We'll explore the themes of Elul and Cheshbon HaNefesh (taking spiritual stock) through visual art and torn paper midrash. Come welcome in the month of Elul, and let the sound of the shofar awaken in you new strength to face the year ahead with determination, creativity and resolve.
No experience necessary. Materials will be provided. Snacks always welcome and appreciated!
Meeting will be in person, but please register using the form below to participate.
Rosh Chodesh is a program of Beth Am Women. All women-identifying are welcome.
