Guest/Non-Member Ticket Orders for High Holy Days 2023 | 5784

Order Deadline: Friday, September 1
Orders can be placed for guest tickets, then picked up during the week prior to services in the Beth Am administrative office during business hours (Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM) starting September 11th or at the Will Call table before each service. (Purchased tickets will not be mailed.) Use the form below to register for a set of services, or click here to skip down to the ordering form links for specific tot and family services. These services are free of charge and require registration for non-members.

Welcome! We look forward to having you join us during this High Holy Day season! Guest tickets are available here to attend all of our primary in-person services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Seating is limited and name-tag tickets for all adults will be required at the door. 

Regular annual membership includes High Holiday tickets for members of the household, and we encourage you to considering joining us. We also offer four types of guest tickets for the main services:
  • Relative of Beth Am member - $100 suggested minimum donation, with validation
  • Community guest  - $360 suggested minimum donation
  • Young adult 36 years old or younger guest - $36 suggested minimum donation
  • Full-time student, teacher, or active-duty military guest - $0 complimentary
  • Member of another URJ congregation (reciprocity) - $0 complimentary, with validation
This year we are offering early and late shifts for our evening and morning main services that are held in our Sanctuary. Please fill out the form below to order one or more guest tickets.
In addition, Beth Am offers complimentary access to our outdoor tot and family services:
  • Erev Rosh Hashanah Tot service (ages 0-6, Sept 15 in Beth Am's outdoor chapel)
  • Morning Rosh Hashanah Family service (designed for ages up to 6th grade, Sept 16 at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto)
  • "Before the Fast" Tot Gathering & Service (ages 0-6, Sept 24 in Beth Am's outdoor area)
  • Morning Yom Kippur Family service (designed for ages up to 6th grade, Sept 25 at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto)

On this form, please:
  • Select whether you want to attend any of the main services or only the complimentary tot and family services. Next, select the service(s) you prefer to attend for each holiday (If you are presently unsure whether you will attend in person or online, please select the in-person service you would be most likely to attend). 
  • Sign up for optional childcare at the late morning services at Beth Am (additional fee).

Name tag badges will be prepared for adults using the names as listed above. These will be needed for access, to help us welcome you, and for security.

REQUIRED: Please fill out the form below to arrange for reciprocal seating at Beth Am, a URJ affiliated congregation, when traveling during the High Holidays. Seating is available for members in good standing of their Home Congregation and is at the discretion of the Destination Congregation. All questions should be directed to Home Congregation where traveling member belongs.

Rosh Hashanah Late-Morning Childcare Reservations - September 16
Childcare for children ages 2-7 will be available (no cost) during this service and will include some Rosh Hashanah themed activities. 

Kol Nidre Service options on Sunday, September 24

Yom Kippur Late-Morning Service Childcare Reservations - September 25
Childcare for children ages 2-7 will be available (no cost) during this service and will include some Yom Kippur themed activities.
Yom Kippur Afternoon Services options on Monday, September 25
Includes Yizkor service at approximately 5:30 PM and Ne'ilah service at approximately 6:15 PM.

A limited number of large-print prayer books are available to borrow on the day of services. You may also purchase a set from the CCAR at this link.

Tickets/Name Tags will not be mailed this year. To attend in person, you may pick up your name tag and plastic holder two ways:
- "In Advance" from the Beth Am office can be picked up during the week prior to services in the Beth Am administrative office during business hours (during business hours Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. (Starting September 11)
- "Will Call" Pick-Up Table before each service. This is to ensure our members can be accommodated in our limited seating.
