October Fund in Focus: Equal Start
October 2020 Fund in Focus: Equal Start
The Equal Start initiative helps address inequities in the larger community around access to affordable, high-quality early childhood education, especially for those children coming from disadvantaged families. This social justice effort bands together volunteers and funding partners in three key areas: advocacy; training of teachers; and developing commitments to identified school sites to work directly on improvements in educational facilities. We believe that Equal Start will not only engage Beth Am members in this work, but will also serve as a catalyst for social change through our work with other religious organizations in our local community as well. Together, we can affect larger change for deeper impact. Learn more about Beth Am's Equal Start initiative.
Thank you for your continued support. Consider a donation to the Equal Start Fund in celebration and gratitude for your family simcha or to honor a loved one.
